Hey Guys!! Happy Friday ! Today I wanted to share with you my postpartum fitness journey! I have always loved working out and being active. My degree was in physical education so I guess you can say I love to stay active! That kind of changed in 2017 when I was pregnant with my sweet baby boy! I was very sick and working out was just not working with being pregnant! I would read all these articles about how to stay fit while being pregnant but truthfully I was just trying to make it through the day without getting sick! Some of you ladies can probably relate and some of you probably had a wonderful pregnancy and I am so jealous! LoL!! Anyways, with any pregnancy I gained weight and I am now on my journey to get it off! I thought I would share my plans and tips to getting that body back you want and deserve! I also thought this would be a great way to record my thoughts and advice to all you women out there that might want your body back!!
My first piece of advice is start out small and allow yourself to be successful!! Working out should be enjoyable and you don’t want to make it stressful or miserable because that will cause you to quite! My first phase will consist of this: workout two days a week, drink more water, and eat a salad at least 2 times a week! These goals are very basic, but like I said this is my first week back and I want to make this a lifestyle not a one time thing! I plan to workout with friends on Tuesdays/Thursdays and because it is cold we are doing the Jillian Michaels Workout videos inside!
Well, that is my plans for phase one! I challenge you to just start! It doesn’t have to be big plans just small steps towards a healthier and better body! You can do this!!
