Fall is going to be here before we know it and one thing I love about fall is all the cozy new outfits!! I love it when the seasons change because that means new clothes and new trends. I love discovering the new trends for each season and purchasing some of the items I know that will be trendy. This year for fall I am seeing 5 trends that are going to be really trendy for 2021. I know that it is fun to be trendy but it can also get expensive really quick, so I have found items that are affordable and trendy!! - Boots, Boots and More Boots
If you look around at all the new fall fashion you will instantly see that boots are EVERYWHERE!! They are in every color and style. Thats why they are definitely first on my must have list for fall because almost every fall outfit I see if paired with a cute pair of boots. One style of boot I am seeing a rise of for 2021 is the western or cowgirl styled boot. This is a boot with a square or pointed western style. I love this style because it gives your outfit a boho western vibe. If that is not your style do not worry because literally boots of all shapes and styles are here for this fall season!!
2. Shackets
Shackets made their appearance last year and they are definitely back again!! Shackets are just a thicker flannel or top that is in between a shirt and a jacket. Thats how they came up with the name SHACKET!! Who ever came up with that name is very clever! LOL Anyways, I am seeing this everywhere. The great thing about shackets is they are very cozy and comfy and can be styled so many ways! You can style them with jean shorts as we transition into fall, flared jeans and a cute tank, or even a shacket and a corduroy skirt. The options to styling these shackets are endless and they are so cute!!
3. Mom Jeans, Straight Jeans or Flares
The next trendy piece I am seeing is new fun jeans from the 90’s. If you are not sure what jean styles are popular go watch an episode of Saved By The Bell and you will instantly know whats in style!! They have came out with so many new jean styles but they are kicking the skinny jeans out. Okay not totally because I am still seeing alot of cute skinny jeans, but if you really want to show off your fashion skills invest in a pair of mom jeans, straight legged jeans, or flared jeans. All of these styles are big for fall and I see them staying around for awhile. I love several different brands of jeans and will share several affordable options.
4. Fall Hats
When I think of fall I think of all the fun outside activities. Like going to a pumpkin patch or having a campfire! All the cozy vibes!! I also think of a girl wearing a cute sweater and a felt hat. Hats are making a big appearance for fall and they are everywhere. I actually found some really amazing hats for under $15 from Walmart and they are definitely a fun statement piece to add to my outfit. They really add something extra to your outfit and make you look like a fashionista.
5. Sweater Vests
Yes… You may be thinking NO WAY am I wearing this, but they are actually cute if styled right. I have seen that Sweater Vests are making an appearance and are very trendy for the fall. If you are wanting to be on top of the fall trends this is one trend you wont want to miss. They are coming in stores everywhere and are actually very practical for transitioning into fall. They are a sweater but not as hot as a big chunky sweater so they are perfect addition to your fall wardrobe.
